Initial Priorities

Compensation & Benefits

About Oakland Hills Country Club

Founded in 1916, with Walter Hagen as its first club professional, Oakland Hills Country Club is a 36-hole Donald Ross-designed private club that has hosted 17 major championships.

Legends such as Gary PlayerArnold PalmerJack Nicklaus, and Ben Hogan have competed here—Hogan famously referred to the South Course as “The Monster.”

The South Course, recently restored by Gil HanseJim Wagner, and Caveman Construction, returned to Ross’s original vision and quickly rose in global rankings following its 2021 reopening.
